It drove Mengsk, it drove Raynor, it drove Sarah Kerrigan, it drove the Queen of Blades, it drove Kerrigan after she was purified, it drove most of the Protoss, it drove Amon. Other than her, literally every major character but Zeratul has had one motivation: Revenge. I feel like Nova is fundamentally a 'Take That' at the rest of Star Craft.
